Rates

Wedding and Event Rates:

A non-refundable deposit of $500 or 50% of the contract amount (whichever is less) is required with a signed contract to secure your date. The final payment is due two weeks before your event. Additional charges may apply for certain holidays and bookings made less than eight weeks in advance (with the exception of memorial services). 

String Quartet

Up to one hour = $1450
One and a half hours = $1600
Two hours = $1750
Three hours = $2000
Four hours = $2400

String Trio

Up to one hour = $1200
One and a half hours = $1325
Two hours = $1450
Three hours = $1650
Four hours = $1950

Harp/Flute or Harp/Violin Duos

Up to one hour = $1100
One and a half hours = $1225
Two hours = $1350
Three hours = $1550
Four hours = $1750

Harp requires the availability of electricity for amplification

Violin and Piano or other duos

Up to one hour = $950
One and a half hours = $1050
Two hours = $1150
Three hours = $1300
Four hours = $1500

Add $200 to provide a keyboard in the absence of a piano at the venue. Keyboard requires the availability of electricity.

Solo Harp

One hour = $850
Two hours = $1050
Three hours = $1200
Four hours = $1300
 

Solo Instrumentalist

One hour = $750
One and a half hours = $850
Two hours = $950
Three hours = $1100

Travel:

Up to 25 miles from Center City Philadelphia at no additional charge.

26-35 miles = $80 additional quartet; $60 additional trio; $40 additional duo; $20 additional soloist
36-45 miles = $160 additional quartet; $120 additional trio; $80 additional duo; $40 additional soloist
46-55 miles = $240 additional quartet; $180 additional trio; $120 additional duo; $60 additional soloist
56-65 miles = $320 additional quartet; $240 additional trio; $160 additional duo; $80 additional soloist

2 hour minimum applies on distances of greater than 65 miles.

66-75 miles = $400 additional quartet; $300 additional trio; $200 additional duo; $100 additional soloist
76-85 miles = $560 additional quartet; $420 additional trio; $280 additional duo; $140 additional soloist

Chamber Ensemble Rates:

There are many variables that affect the rate for a performance, such as the number and length of rehearsals, instrumentation and the location of the services, to name a few. The following are some sample situations and rates to give you an estimate of what your cost for a performance in the Philadelphia area might be.

Performing with your choir

A string quartet for a church service (except wedding) including a rehearsal immediately before the service, with a total elapsed time of two and a half hours, the fee is $1250.

A string quartet for a church service (except wedding) not to exceed 2 hours, with a 2-hour rehearsal on a separate day, the fee is $1700.

A 15 piece orchestra for a cantata performance, with one 2 1/2 hour rehearsal on a separate day, the fee is $6475.

A 30 piece orchestra for a cantata performance, with two 2 1/2 hour rehearsals, the fee is $22,400.

Payment

A 50% deposit is required with the signed contract to secure the date. The balance is due two weeks before the performance date.
