Although we don’t contract vocalists at this time, we can
refer you to several fine singers that we have worked with in the
past.
Substitutes:
If a member of the Fairmount String Quartet is unable to play an
engagement, we will engage a member of the Fairmount Chamber Ensemble

Women dress in long black and men in tuxedo. Please let us know
if you would prefer less formal attire.
Breaks:
On a one hour engagement, there will be no break.
On a two hour engagement, there will be one 15 minute break
On a three hour engagement, there will be two 15 minute breaks
On a four hour engagement, there will be three 20 minute breaks
On a five hour engagement, there will be four 20 minute breaks.
Please note that breaks will not be taken during wedding ceremonies
or religious services.
Outdoor performances:
Because of the delicate nature of our instruments, if an engagement
is to be outdoors, the area we are in must be well shaded, with
temperature between 65 and 85 degrees F. Please be sure to take
the proper precautions for outdoor services, as we will not subject
our valuable instruments to conditions that will damage them.
