There are many variables that effect the rate for a performance, such as the number and length of rehearsals, instrumentation and the location of the services, to name a few. The following are some sample situations and rates to give you an estimate of what your cost for a performance in the Philadelphia area might be. A string quartet, for a church service (except wedding), with a rehearsal immediately before the service, with a total time of two and a half hours, the fee is $892.50. A string quartet, for a church service (except wedding), not to exceed 2 hours, with a 2 hour rehearsal on a separate day, the fee is $1008. A 15 piece orchestra for a cantata performance, with one 2 1/2 hour rehearsal, the fee is $4725. A 30 piece orchestra for a cantata performance, with two 2 1/2 hour rehearsals, the fee is $13,180. Payment : A 50% deposit is required with the signed contract to secure the date. The balance is due 2 weeks before the performance date. |
