Barbara Jaffe (violin)

Barbara received a Master of Music degree in violin performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y., where she was a student of Donald Weilerstein. She has concertized in the U.S. and abroad with the Cascade Quartet, the Bradley University String Quartet, the Soglio Chamber Players and the Gabriel Chamber Ensemble. In the Philadelphia area she has been a member of the Delaware Symphony, Opera Delaware Orchestra, and the Fairmount Chamber Ensemble and has performed with the Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra and the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra. She currently teaches violin at Bryn Mawr College as well as privately in her home studio. She is on staff as a chamber music coach/performer at the Vermont Music and Arts program for adult chamber music students in Lyndonville, VT.
